The Organization: Collective Impact – Founded in 2007, Collective Impact’s mission is to provide people and programs with the tools they need to succeed. We believe we are all connected and if we work together we can develop critical solutions to the issues facing our community. Based out of the historic Ella Hill Hutch Community Center in the Western Addition, Collective Impact serves as an anchor institution and a safe haven for children, youth and families. We are an incubator for community-based organizations and provide them with the expertise and resources they need so their developing programs can flourish. Through all of our work and the programs we serve, we annually improve the lives of over 2,000 chronically disadvantaged people.
The Program: Dream Keeper Initiative – In June 2020, following the killing of George Floyd, Mayor Breed and Board of Supervisors President Shamann Walton announced a plan to prioritize the redirection of resources from law enforcement to support the African-American community. The Dream Keeper Initiative is the result of that plan. The Dream Keeper Initiative is a new, citywide effort to reinvest $120 million over the next two years from law enforcement into San Francisco’s Black and African American community. This Initiative is part of Mayor London N. Breed’s roadmap for reforming public safety and addressing structural inequities in San Francisco. The first $60 million of the Dream Keeper Initiative for Fiscal Year 2020-21 will go towards some of the programs that we provide at Collective Impact: Youth Development and Education, City Employment Pipelines, Workforce Training and Development, Business and Entrepreneur Support, Health and Wellbeing, Housing and Homeownership.
The Job: Data and Evaluation Coordinator – This new Coordinator role is an extraordinary opportunity for an individual with experience in data collection and management skills to grow and develop a city-sponsored program.
Responsibilities
Demonstrated ability to design/implement CRM and/or data management systems
Master and execute core data management activities
Complete research projects to identify new, valid data sources
Maintain and improve data quality and standards
Work cross-functionally to support multiple programs within the organization
Support year-end reporting, impact reports, and funding requirements
Excellent interpersonal skills necessary in order to provide effective communication with employees and to interact effectively with visitors, staff and all members of the healthcare team
Required Qualifications
Minimum of a BA in a related field
At least 2 years of experience in data management and compliance
Quick learner and someone who takes initiative without always needing direction
Demonstrated success developing and evaluating program models, selecting and successfully operationalizing innovative programs
Experience having worked with a high-performance, collaborative, constructive peer groups
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to details
Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to and passion for our mission
Demonstrated ability to utilize de-escalation techniques that align with the trauma informed care model as part of intervention strategy for working with participants in crisis who are responding to triggers/stressors and/or demonstrating early indicators of distress
Demonstrated cultural responsiveness in working with diverse families and communities
Strong written communication skills
Ability to interact successfully with employees and all levels of management
Ability to work independently, problem-solve and handle multiple priorities
Ability to use Google, Microsoft Office, internet and email programs
